Anders Parker first graced the virtual pages of An Aquarium Drunkard back in May while Kevin, from So Much Silence, was guest posting while I was on the road for a couple of months. And a mighty fine taste it was. Since then Anders has been busy, both recording a new self-titled solo record and a collaborative neo-traditional folk record under the name “Gob Iron” with none other than one Jay Farrar. Not a bad year’s work. Both will be released on Halloween. Here’s a pedal-steel soaked sample from the upcoming S/T record which was recorded in L.A. at a pool house cum studio. An ode to love and Los Angeles.
